Football Association of Malawi (FAM) is inviting teams to register for this year's edition of the lucrative K60 Million Presidential Cup which is expected to start on May 1st 2010.
The competitions desk manager Casper Jangale said the preliminary stage of the competition will involve competitions running concurrently at district, regional and under 20 youth levels.
According to Jangale, winners of the preliminary phase of the competition will qualify for the national play offs before being pooled together with Super League teams for the final phase.
This year's edition of the competition has also seen women's football being included, a development that has been welcomed by the National Women's football president Suzgo Ngwira.
"We are grateful to both the sponsors and FAM for considering women's football to be part and parcel of the Presidential showcase. This will enable women footballers to uplift their game," said Ngwira.
Registration which is already in progress will finish on April 26th, 2010.
