NYFA conducts U20 regional playoffs

The National Youth Football Association on Saturday conducted regional play-offs for the U20 First Capital Bank League to find candidates for the national finals.

The regional finals were participated by champions from the 15 participating districts.

According to National Youth Football Association General Secretary James Sawerengera, they have successfully found the candidates who will represent their respective regions at the national finals scheduled for Rumphi Stadium on 10th and 11th December.

In the Southern regions, Mangochi based Mpondasi FC are the champions after amassing seven points from three games, one above Maggie Chombo Academy who finished Second.

Lukombo FC will represent Central region at the while the Northern region will be represented by Iponga FC. Rumphi FC automatically qualified for the final by virtue of being hosts.

Mzuzu-based Sanwecka FC are the defending champions of the FCB U20 league.
