FAM releases list of Flames’ local players

Burly forward Chiukepo Msowoya have been chosen for the task

FAM has released the list of 12 local-based players that are expected to leave for Uganda’s capital Kampala Sunday afternoon.
Despite calling some new faces, coach Young Chimodzi and his deputy Jack Chamangwana have maintained the bulk of the familiar faces.
Goalkeepers McDonald Harawa and Richard Chipuwa have been chosen for the task as first-choice goalkeeper Charles Swini is injured.
Big Bullets captain and defence marshal Sankhani Mkandawire has also returned to the team. The other defenders are Lucky Malata, Francis Mulimbika, John Lanjesi while South Africa-based Limbikani Mzava and Harry Nyirenda are the other defenders who will join the team in Uganda.
The other local-based players that have been picked are Ndaziona Chatsalira, Young Chimodzi Jnr, Phillip Masiye, John and Frank Banda and striker Gastin Simkonda.
The other foreign-based players are midfielders Joseph Kamwendo and Chimango Kayira, strikers Robin Ngalande, Gabadinho Mhango, Chiukepo Msowoya and Atusaye Nyondo.
The Flames are scheduled to line-up against Uganda on Tuesday before proceeding to Benin on Wednesday.
