U23 to go into camp on Sunday

The Malawi Under 23 National team will go into residential camp on Sunday to start preparations for the 2019 U23 AFCON second round qualifier against Zambia in March.

The team has been conducting non-residential training in the past two weeks in three centers namely Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.

Coach Meke Mwase has named a 33 man squad that will be camping at the Mpira Village in Blantyre.

Mwase said the long camp will give them enough time to prepare for the match.

Malawi will host Zambia at the Kamuzu Stadium in the first leg on 20th March with the return leg set for 24th March in Lusaka.

The following players are expected to arrive in camp on Sunday, 3rd February 2019 by 6:00 pm.
