Two more players have been ruled out of Flames CHAN 2020 Qualifier First Round return leg against Eswatini on Saturday due to injuries.

Patrick Phir ( left) one of the casualties

Be Forward Wanderers defenders Peter Cholopi and Dennis Chembezi got injured on club duty over the weekend with the former pulling a hamstring while the latter fell on his arm.

The  two join midfielder  Alfred Manyozo Jnr and strikers Peter Banda and Patrick Phiri who were ruled out on Monday due to injuries as well.

Flames Coach Meke Mwase described the development as unfortunate as the list of casualties include three players (Manyozo, Phiri and Cholopi) who started in the first leg  which  ended goalless in Manzini three weeks ago.

But Mwase said he is confident that the remaining players will do the job and he will not  call  replacements.

“Their absence will affect the team, but we have enough depth to cover up. Time is not on our side to call new players so we will continue with the 23 we have in camp,” said Mwase.
